History

ContentStack is a CMS that was developed in 2018 by two individuals named Neha Sampat and Nishant Patel. Their companies goal is for businesses to have an easier and smoother process creating digital experiences.

Requirements

ContentStack has requirements for the browsers and operating systems. Must be compatible with modern day browsers but doesn’t support versions that are around 2.5 years old or has less than 5% usage. Must be compatible with modern operating systems. The ContentStack marketplace SDK requires node.js version 10 or higher.

Hosted/Self-hosted

ContentStack offers a self-hosting option called custom hosting, which will give the user complete control over their hosting environment. The platform also allows its user to choose their preferred hosting provider.

Cost

As of 2021, ContentStack starter package started at the price of $995 per month, it being for teams managing single property sites. Grow package for teams managing single property sites, apps, and loT stating at $4,500 per month.

ContentSTack CMS is widely used by mainly large enterprises such as McDonalds, Mitsubishi, Shell, Chase banks, and Holiday Inn’s. 1,290 websites are using ContentStack and is ranked #7 in market position in headless CMS.
